While it is true that Animal presents itself as a film of action, the emotional aspect of the film was more important to Ranbir than its violent side. He added that he appreciates the father child relation as the most essential component of the story.

In Animal, Ranbir takes on the role of Ranvijay Singh, a man who goes from being peaceful to turning to violence following the attempted assassination of his father. However, the character’s journey is about healing and growing not just about satisfying an urge for vengeance.
