Krunal Pandya Denies Rift With Hardik Amid Viral WWE Comparison

Krunal Pandya has said there's no problem with his brother Hardik, putting an end to rumors that started because of a joking conversation on RCB Insider. When asked directly about the issue, Krunal laughed and said everything is fine, while the show's host, Mr Nags, compared the two of them to Undertaker and Kane, the battling brothers from the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

In a relaxed discussion, Krunal talked about how you can miss someone even when surrounded by family. Mr Nags then asked about his brother, which made Krunal laugh, though the mood did become more serious for a moment.

An awkward question, a viral laugh

Video clips of this exchange quickly spread on social media, and people were divided about whether it showed tension or just playful teasing. However, Krunal was clear: he and Hardik are getting along just fine.

When asked again, Krunal said the brothers’ relationship is good. The host continued with the WWE joke, pointing out that even Undertaker and Kane sometimes fight, but Krunal wouldn’t change his story and just smiled.

Krunal says all is ok with Hardik

This talk about a disagreement had really increased after the recent match between RCB and Mumbai Indians. By dealing with the question directly, Krunal has indicated he’s finished with all the speculation and is concentrating on playing cricket.

Aside from talking about his family, Krunal said what he’s really trying to do is play for India again, but he doesn’t spend too much time thinking about it. He wants to do what he can do, which means going out on the field, playing well, and winning matches.

Eyes on India, not on drama

He last played for India in Sri Lanka in July 2021. He’s played 5 One Day Internationals and 19 Twenty20 Internationals for his country, scoring 254 runs and taking 17 wickets in those 24 games.

Mumbai Indians bought Krunal for 2 crore rupees in 2016 and he quickly became a key part of their strong middle-to-lower batting order alongside Hardik and Kieron Pollard. In his first season, he scored 237 runs with a strike rate of and took 6 wickets.

From early IPL rise to title runs

He was important as Mumbai won the championship in 2019 and 2020, and he actually hit the winning runs in the 2020 final. Then, when two new teams joined in 2022, Lucknow Super Giants paid 8.25 crore rupees for him and he helped them get to the playoffs in their first two years.

Later, Krunal joined Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the auction in Jeddah in t 2025 for 5.75 crore rupees. He did really well in RCB’s first championship win, and was named Player of the Match in the 2025 Final after taking 2 wickets for 17 runs in 4 overs against Punjab Kings. In his entire IPL career he’s scored 1757 runs in 146 matches and has 98 wickets (with an economy rate of 7.51).

Krunal also mentioned an exchange he had on the field with a younger player from Lucknow, Mukul Choudhary. People thought he was “sledging” (trying to put the other player off his game), but Krunal said he was just giving Mukul some friendly advice, telling him to have confidence in hitting the ball over long-on or long-off.

Clearing the air on the Mukul Choudhary clip

He says that because of his serious face and how he styles his hair, people often assume he’s angry, even when he’s just joking. He thinks the meaning of what’s happening is lost in short video clips.

The Pandya brothers have always attracted a lot of attention, and even a laugh from them can start a week of people making up stories. This time, Krunal’s message was simple and he said it repeatedly: he and Hardik don’t have a problem, and cricket is his priority.

What it means and what comes next

This focus is showing with RCB. Krunal has added to his range of skills in T20 cricket, and has even surprised people by bowling a fast, short ball (a bouncer) with his left-arm spin. He’s playing well this season and, based on his performances, is hoping to be chosen for the Indian team again, not because of what’s being written in the papers.

Another moment from the show that a lot of people shared was the host’s comparison of Krunal and Hardik to Undertaker and Kane, which made Krunal grin again and confirm that everything is okay between them. And based on what’s happening now, the dramatic storyline that many people were hoping for isn’t the one Krunal is presenting.
