Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan Celebrate Jeh’s 5th Birthday with Naruto-Themed Party

Saif Ali Khan with Kareena Kapoor Khan marked their son Jeh turning five, doing so with a party which had a Naruto idea behind it. The not-large get-together - with family and people they knew - was all about good times, and being kept to themselves. The occasion showed how the two act as parents; they mix what's popular in culture with what's special to them.

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan happily celebrated their younger son, Jehangir Ali Khan, turning five on February 21st. The cozy family get-together had cake, bright colours, and a lot of fun – and it was clearly all about what Jeh loves, a lively Naruto party which pleased relatives and friends.

Family and guests at the celebration

The party included the couple, their older son Taimur, and family like Soha Ali Khan, Saba Ali Khan, and Karisma Kapoor. Neha Dhupia was also in the friendly group, so the mix of people was a comfortable one of both family and long-time friends, and not about showing off. Saif and Kareena saw their youngest have a good day, and the aunts were busy between keeping an eye on things and smiling with pride. Taimur was part of the fun too, acting as the older brother that people who follow the boys have come to expect. The whole thing showed how important family is, and how much the party was for the children.

Naruto-themed decor and party highlights

The people organising the party put up a big sign saying ‘Happy Birthday Jeh’ with a picture of the well-known anime character on it. This showed Jeh’s tastes, and made the room colourful and good for children. A Naruto figure was the main thing people looked at, and a nice thing to have in a lot of the pictures people shared. Photos of the cake being cut showed the normal birthday mess: icing, children laughing, and, as usual, a photo where you can see the cake but only a quick glimpse of the birthday boy. Still, the photos were full of affection, and showed how a party with a theme can turn a simple event into a family memory which is all about how happy the child is.

Moments shared on social media and family privacy

Soha Ali Khan put a series of happy photos on Instagram, with funny words which summed up the day: ‘blink and he’s five. Cake cutting photos have to be chaos’. She also respected the family’s private life by putting red heart symbols over Taimur’s and Jeh’s faces in some of the pictures, so she could share things and protect them. The comments showed warmth and family love. Kareena Kapoor Khan reacted with heart symbols, and Saba Ali Khan left a nice message calling Jeh her ‘fierce warrior’ and sending wishes ‘to the moon and back’. People at the party shared a few things – not everything – and kept the tone private.

Parents, sibling dynamics, and growth milestones

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan had their first child, Taimur, in 2016, and welcomed Jehangir in 2021. In the five years since, people have watched the brothers grow up, seeing how each step in their lives shows the parents’ careful approach to publicity and family life. The brothers seem to be close, and the birthday showed that. Little scenes – Jeh holding his Naruto toy with Kareena and Soha, or Taimur helping with the cake – show normal, important family moments that both parents and people who follow them can enjoy.

The appeal of themed birthdays in modern family life

Parties with a theme, like Jeh’s Naruto party, are part of a wider trend: parents using popular culture to make parties special and to make memories that will last. Themes turn a child’s interests into real decorations, things to do, and things to keep, and give family members pictures they want to share. At the same time, people organising the party often balance sharing and privacy. Simple things – such as covering faces in photos, or only posting a few moments – let families celebrate openly but still control what the public sees. This way the party is really about what the child enjoys. Celebrating Jeh’s fifth birthday with a Naruto theme gave Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan a playful, family-first event which showed what the couple think is important when raising children. The photos and messages afterwards gave fans enough warmth to enjoy, and kept the day as a private family memory.
