For the thousands of students in Maharashtra, today is the day to act. The 2026 supplementary result for the SSC and HSC is set to be put out at 1 PM on mahahsscboard.in. For Class 10 and 12 candidates, this is the only way to make sure they do not have to put an academic year on hold while they sort out their admissions.

The State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education is making the marksheets available online. Have your admit card and the like on hand so that when the link is up, you can get the scorecard right away.

Why today’s result is of some consequence

From the point of view of schools and colleges, the 1 PM start time is what drives the rest of the process: seat allotment, checking of papers, and so on. Any student with a few subjects in the past can put in an application for Class 11 or an undergraduate program without further ado.

What is being shown online is for now. The hard copy from the school is what will be issued in due course. This gives institutions a head start on admissions while the digital version serves as a stopgap.

Where to find the numbers

The place to be is the official site, mahahsscboard.in. The board has put out a word to check back from 1 PM on, as the site could be a bit of a bottleneck in the first hour or two.

Here is how to go about it:

– Head over to mahahsscboard.in

– Select the SSC or HSC Supplementary Result 2026

– Put in your details

– Hit submit for the scorecard

– Make a copy of the marksheet

Once you have it, take a look at the name, roll number, and the scores per subject to make sure everything is in order. If something is off, let the board or the school know of it straight away.

A look at the exam schedule

The idea was to have the supplementary exams in the wake of the main ones so credits could be made up for. The SSC side of things ran from June 16 to 30, 2026; for HSC, it was from the 16th to July 8.

This was put on by the nine divisional boards – Pune, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur and Konkan. An expedited calendar is the way to keep in step with the rest of the year.

Some context on the regulars

With the kind of pass rates we saw in the regular exams, the supplementary was for a more select group. In the case of the SSC (Class 10), 92.09% made it through. Out of 15,42,472 who sat for it, 14,20,486 were successful.

Girls had a better showing in the SSC at 94.96% to 89.56% for the boys. On the HSC (Class 12) front, the figure was 89.79%. Of the 1,433,058 who actually appeared, 14,44,713 had put in an application.

In HSC, girls came in at 93.15%, with boys at 86.80%. By stream, Science was on top with 96.44%, followed by Commerce at 87.03% and Arts at 78.02%. Now is the chance to put right any shortfalls from one or two subjects.

Once the results are in

Those who have made the grade can get on with it. A SSC qualifier can put in for Class 11, an HSC one for a degree or other higher ed. The provisional card will do for the time being until the school hands over the original.

There is a window for redress after this. From July 15 to 24, 2026, one can ask for revaluation or to see the answer sheet. If the mark is a matter of some importance for a cut-off, it would be wise to file a request in that time.

There is no need to put off the paperwork. Have the marksheet in both forms, see what the college is asking for, and talk to the school about when the certificates will be in hand.

Should the page be unresponsive at 1, give it a minute and try again. The link will be there and the scorecard is yours for the taking once it is up.
