The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education made the 2026 PPR/PPS results official on June 16, 2026, so there’s no more wondering for students who had an issue with their marks. The new numbers are up on wbbsedata.com. Schools can make use of this as well to get some consolidated PDFs for their files.
How to get at your revised scores
There was a lot of traffic on the site in the morning from both students and schools, so have your information to hand before you log in. Your individual scorecard will show the new marks for any subject that was put under a microscope.
Here is the short way to do it:
– Head to wbbsedata.com
– Click on the PPR/PPS Result 2026
– Put in your roll number and when you were born
– Hit submit and you can have the scorecard
For institutions, there is a School Login on the portal to get a combined PDF for all your candidates. It’s a good idea to keep a hard and soft copy for your own records and for when you need to verify something down the line.
What it means for you
If you didn’t do as well as you thought, a re-totalling can clear things up. For some, these changes may well have a bearing on which subjects they pick or how they handle paperwork for later on.
It’s been in the news since the main Madhyamik results came out on May 8, 2026. We saw an 86.83% pass rate overall, with Kalimpong in the lead at 95.10%. And if you haven’t heard, Abhirup Bhadra from Raiganj was the state topper, racking up 698 of 700.
A word on PPS and PPR
After the results in May, WBBSE put two options on the table. If you passed but want to be sure the marks were added right, you go for Post Publication Scrutiny. It runs you Rs 80 a subject.
Then there’s the Post Publication Review for those who didn’t make the cut and want a second look at the answer script. That’s Rs 100 per subject. They are for different situations, but either way, you can have any errors put right.
How we got here
The window to apply was open from May 8 to the 22nd. Students put in their requests via their head of institution on plain paper, with a marksheet photocopy and the cash for the fee. The board doesn’t take individual or offline entries; everything was done online by the school.
From May 26 to June 6, the examiners were on it, verifying and putting the new marks in. That process is what has us with the release you see today.
For the schools and the students
Now that the results are in, it’s up to the schools to straighten out their internal books and let the candidates know where they stand. The PDF from the School Login makes it easy to update the whole batch and talk to parents.
Students should have a look at the subject-by-subject and hold on to the new scorecard. Spot a name or total that doesn’t add up? Let the school know right away so they can put in a word with the board.
RTI and answer scripts
There is also the option to get a certified copy of your answer script under the 2005 RTI Act. It won’t get you a re-evaluation, but it is a way to see how your work was marked.
So, for the time being, the to-do list is straightforward: go to wbbsedata.com, type in your details, and get your scorecard. Schools should be on top of their downloads and record-keeping as well.
