The Realme C100 5G is being presented as a cheap 5G phone with a really long-lasting battery and a fast-updating screen. It combines the big 7000 mAh battery, a 144Hz LCD screen, and a MediaTek processor to give you usable performance at a price you can afford.
Launch details and pricing
You’ll be able to buy the Realme C100 5G in Thailand from the big online stores from April 22nd. The basic version with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage costs 6,999 Thai Baht. A better version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is 7,499 Thai Baht.
For the launch in Thailand, the colours are Blooming Purple and Sprouting Green. It’s designed for people looking for good value for money, 5G and a phone that won’t need charging all the time, and they aren’t willing to pay a lot.
Display, design, and build
The C100 5G has a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD screen that can refresh up to 144 times a second. The screen can get as bright as 900 nits, so you should be able to see it easily even when you are outside in bright sunlight.
The phone has all the usual sensible things like a fingerprint scanner on the side, a 3.5mm headphone socket, and a USB-C port. Realme says it’s IP64 rated for protection against dust and splashes, and it weighs around 224 grams.
Performance, storage, and connectivity
Inside is an eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, and up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM. It has 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, and you can add more space using a separate microSD card slot.
It connects to 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, and standard location services. It also has simple cameras: a 50MP camera on the back and a 5MP camera on the front for taking selfies or making video calls.
AI features and software highlights
Realme has included a number of features that use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to make your photos better and your internet connection work more efficiently. These include AI Motion Photo, AI Outdoor Mode, AI NetPilot to improve your connection, AI Image Matting, and AI Smart Loop for things running in the background.
These added software features are meant to make the phone easier to use in your day-to-day life, rather than turning it into a top-of-the-range camera phone. You can expect a straightforward, useful collection of software that works with the phone’s hardware.

Battery capacity and charging capabilities
The most important feature of the C100 t5G is its 7000 mAh battery which should last most people for two or more days. Realme also supports 45W fast charging with a cable, which is quicker than charging many cheap phones.
You can also use the phone to charge other devices with a cable if you need to (wired reverse charging). This combination of long battery life and fast charging is good for people who really need their phone to keep going and to charge quickly when it does run out of power.

How the C100 5G compares with the C100 4G variant
Realme has also released a C100 4G, which has an even bigger battery. This 4G model has an 8000 mAh battery, uses the Helio G92 Max processor, supports 45W charging, and can even charge other devices at up to 10W with a cable.
The C100 4G has a 6.8 inch IPS LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, ArmorShell glass, and a brighter 1,200 nits peak brightness. It has an IP69K rating for protection from water and dust and runs Realme UI 7.0 which is based on Android 16. It will be available in some places like Vietnam.
The Realme C100 5G gives you a good balance of features and price, and is for people who want 5G, a long-lasting battery, and a smooth screen. If a very large battery and better water/dust protection are more important to you, the C100 4G is an alternative, but it is a different package with some compromises.
