Realme has said the Realme P4 Lite 4G is coming to India on February 20, and will offer a big battery plus a thin, light build for people looking for a low-cost phone. This new phone is part of the P4 line and is for people who want a battery that lasts a long time without having to pay for 5G.
When it will be out and who it is for
The Realme P4 Lite 4G will be released in India on February 20, and it’s being sold as the cheapest phone in the P4 series. It comes after the P4 Power, P4 Pro, and P4X, and looks to be for people getting their first smartphone – or those who simply want a simple 4G phone. Realme has suggested that, as it only has 4G and less costly parts, the P4 Lite will likely cost less than Rs 10,000. If the price is right, the phone could be good for people who care more about battery life and a thin shape than top-level speed.
Battery size and how it charges
The most important feature is a 6,300mAh battery; Realme says this is the biggest battery in its price class. The company says that in normal use, the battery should last two full days, which should please people who want to be able to use their phone for a long time without plugging it in. It charges at a reasonable, but useful, 15W, and can also do 6W reverse charging through USB Type-C. Realme has also confirmed a charger will be in the box, making it easy to set up for new users.
How it looks and the screen
Realme is stressing a thin and light design – the P4 Lite is about 7.49mm thick and has a straight frame. The back has a ring-shaped Pulse Light with nine colors and five light patterns, to give it a unique look. The screen is 6.74 inches, with a 90Hz refresh rate and a touch response of up to 180Hz. The peak brightness is around 563 nits, and Smart Touch technology should give accurate input even if your hands are wet, or if you’re using gloves or a case. There’s a waterdrop notch, and fairly thin borders around the screen.
Speed, memory and what it runs
Inside, the Realme P4 Lite 4G uses the UNISOC T7250 eight-core processor, made using a 12nm process. Realme says it gets around 280,000 on the AnTuTu test, which means it’s a basic phone that’s good for everyday jobs and simple apps. You can get it with up to 18GB of dynamic RAM and 128GB of storage. Dynamic RAM takes storage space to add to the RAM, so the actual amount of RAM in the phone may be less than 18GB. It comes with Realme UI on Android 15, and has several AI features and software improvements.
Camera, sound, and how well it’s made
The camera parts aren’t very special: a 13-megapixel main back camera comes with what is probably a 2-megapixel second camera. Realme has not yet told us about the front camera, so we don’t know how good selfies will be. The two cameras and AI for photos should give acceptable results for general photos. The sound and other features are worth noting. The P4 Lite can go up to 300 percent Ultra Volume, has an AI Call Noise Reduction 2.0 system, and a Speaker Cleaner that uses shaking to remove water from the speaker. The phone also has an IP54 rating for dust and water spray protection.
Price, colors and what it’s like overall
Realme will say the real price and when it’s available on February 20, but signs show the P4 Lite 4G might cost less than Rs 10,000. It will come in Beach Gold, Obsidian Black, and Sea Blue. All in all, the Realme P4 Lite 4G looks good for people on a budget who want a long-lasting 6,300mAh battery in a thin and light phone. People thinking of buying it should wait for full test results and camera samples, but the phone seems good for people who want battery life and useful features more than top-level performance.
