Samsung has set February 25th for its Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event; the Galaxy S26 series will be out in under ten days. Through leaks and teasers, we have a pretty good idea what to expect from the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus and Galaxy S26 Ultra – and the Galaxy Buds 4 is probably going to show up, too.
Date of Release, Event Info, and Where to Buy
The Galaxy Unpacked event begins at 11:30 PM IST on February 25th in San Francisco. The company will show off the new S26 phones and the things that go with them in a worldwide broadcast; some people in certain areas will get to see them early, and the press and partners will get to try them out. When they come out, you’ll be able to get them in the usual places: Samsung’s website, Samsung stores, and big retailers. Information that’s been leaked suggests that in India, well-known online shops will sell the phones, like they have with other top-end Galaxy phones in the past.
What the Design and Screens Are Likely to Be, for Each Model
The designs ought to look similar to what you already know, but a little better – with thinner borders and glass that’s either flat or has a slight curve, depending on which phone it is. The Galaxy S26 might be made to be easy to hold, while the Plus and Ultra will have bigger screens for watching things and getting work done. The screens will be different on each model. The Galaxy S26 will probably have a 6.3-inch FHD+ AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate, the S26 Plus a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED at 120Hz, and the S26 Ultra a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ screen with 120Hz. There might be a new screen for privacy, using Flex Magic Pixel OLED tech, to make the viewing angle smaller when you want it to be.
How Fast They’ll Be, Battery Size, and How Quickly They Charge
Samsung seems to be going to use different chips in different areas again. In places such as India, the S26 and S26 Plus might come with an Exynos 2600, 12GB of RAM and as much as 512GB of storage. The Ultra is expected to have a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 everywhere, with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The batteries are good, but not huge: around 4300 mAh for the S26 with 25W charging, roughly 4900 mAh and 45W charging for the S26 Plus, and 5000 mAh in the Ultra – with rumours of 60W wired charging. The new chips being more efficient should mean the battery lasts longer in real life.
The Cameras and What’s New in Photography
Taking pictures seems to be a major selling point. The basic S26 and S26 Plus will probably have a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultrawide and a 10-megapixel telephoto with 3x optical zoom. These are for taking good pictures every day and doing well in low light. The S26 Ultra is expected to be at the top of the class, with a 200-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel periscope that can zoom 5x optically, a 50-megapixel ultrawide, and another 10-megapixel telephoto at 3x. The advanced computer photography and Galaxy AI features should make pictures and videos much better.
How Much They’ll Cost and Who Should Think About Getting One
Early Indian prices that have been leaked put the Galaxy S26 at about Rs 82,999, the S26 Plus near Rs 99,999, and the S26 Ultra at around Rs 1,34,999 to start. These numbers will be used to work out how much you get for a trade-in and how much carriers will lower the price. People who are thinking of buying should think about what they want: get the S26 if you want something easy to hold, the S26 Plus if you want a bigger screen and battery, and the S26 Ultra if you want the best cameras and the fastest performance. The new Privacy Display and some of the One UI 8.5 controls could get the attention of people who often work in public. Samsung’s concentrating on improvements that make sense in the real world, like screen privacy, better zoom and faster charging, shows that the S26 series is about making things better instead of just looking different. We’re going to get the full specs and prices at the event, then we’ll get pre-order deals and packages with the Galaxy Buds 4.
