The Narzo 90 and 90x are part of Realme’s new line of phones that are designed to last a long time between charges, have 50MP cameras, and charge quickly – all at a reasonable price for 5G phones. While both have that huge 7,000mAh battery and 60W charging, they are different in their screens, cameras, and how well they can withstand damage.
Realme Narzo 90, Narzo 90x price in India and availability
In India, the Narzo 90 costs from Rs 16,999 for a version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. A version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is Rs 18,499.
The Narzo 90x is cheaper, starting at Rs 13,999 for 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage; the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version is Rs 15,499.
For a limited time, you can get between Rs 1,000 and Rs 2,000 off the price depending on the phone and which bank you use. They go on sale December 24th on Amazon and the Realme India website.

Batteries and charging: 7,000mAh with 60W fast charging
Both phones are made for people who use their phones a lot, or for gamers. Realme says a full charge will let you watch videos online for up to 23 hours.
Both models charge rapidly with 60W charging. The Narzo 90 can also be used to charge other devices – it works like a portable power bank.
A ‘bypass charging’ feature sends power directly to the phone’s processor when you’re doing something demanding. This should reduce overheating and keep the battery in good shape for up to six years, Realme says.
Performance and software
The Narzo 90 uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Max 6nm chip, up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. This means it should be smooth for everyday use and able to handle games at reasonable settings.
The Narzo 90x has the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 6nm chip, and the same RAM and storage options. Both phones can use two 5G SIM cards at the same time.
They both come with Android 15 and Realme UI 6.0, which means improved privacy, nicer animations, and more efficient performance right from the start.

Displays and design
The Realme Narzo 90 has a 6.57-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED screen that refreshes 120 times a second (for smoother visuals), can register your touch 240 times a second, and gets up to 1,400 nits bright. The camera is in a small ‘punch-hole’ in the screen, and the edges around the screen are very thin, making it look completely immersive.
The Narzo 90x has a bigger 6.8-inch HD+ LCD screen that refreshes 144 times a second and gets up to 1,200 nits bright. It also has a ‘punch-hole’ camera, but the edges around the screen are a little thicker for a tougher look.
The designs are quite different. The Narzo 90 has a square section for the cameras with the two lenses arranged in a split pattern. The Narzo 90x has a vertical, rectangular section for the cameras and a ring of light around it.
The Narzo 90 is about 7.79 mm thick and weighs roughly 183 g. The Narzo 90x is 8.28 mm thick and around 212 g.

Cameras and video
The Narzo 90 has two cameras on the back: a 50MP main camera and a 2MP monochrome (black and white) camera. On the front, it has a 50MP camera for selfies, and Realme says it’s good for people who use social media a lot or make vlogs.
The Narzo 90x has a single 50MP Sony IMX852 camera on the back for easy, consistent photos, and an 8MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls.
Both phones can record video at 1080p and 30 frames per second.
Durability and extras
The Narzo 90 is very durable, with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for protection against dust and water. This level of protection is unusual for phones in this price range. The Narzo 90x has an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Both phones have dual 5G SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB-C connections. They all have 128GB of storage, LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage for quick app loading.

Colors and finishes
The Narzo 90 comes in Victory Gold and Carbon Black. The Victory Gold has faint stripes. The Narzo 90x is available in Nitro Blue and Flash Blue and has the ring light near the camera.
Which Realme Narzo 90 series phone should you buy?
If you want an AMOLED screen, a better 50MP selfie camera, the ability to charge other phones, and the best possible protection (IP69), choose the Realme Narzo 90. It’s the more high-end option for watching videos and for being very durable.
If you’d rather have a larger 6.8-inch screen, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a lower price, go for the Narzo 90x. It’s a good choice for gaming and general use if you don’t want to spend much.
With their attractive prices, 7,000mAh batteries and good choices of components, the Realme Narzo 90 series sets a new standard for cheap 5G phones in India.
