Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s Wedding: First Photos from Private Udaipur Ceremony

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda got married after a private event in Udaipur. Their first wedding photos, which they put on social media, very quickly became popular all over the internet. The couple happily used the nickname their fans had made up for them - Virosh - to add a fun element to their celebration. The wedding honored customs from both Telugu and Kodava cultures, and was attended by family and their nearest friends.

Their first pictures as husband and wife were posted soon after the service, and went viral in moments. Vijay wrote a lovely message on Instagram, remembering when he understood he didn’t just love Rashmika, but needed her in his life every day. He finished by saying, “So, I made my best friend my wife. 26.02.2026.” Rashmika presented her husband to the world with a very warm tribute; she said Vijay had taught her to be at peace, to want more from life, and to have been with her through all of the good times and the bad. Her message showed how happy and thankful she was, and she called him the man who made life seem to make sense. She also said that marrying him felt like the start of the greatest party ever.

The kind, genuine way both of them wrote their messages made the emotional impact of the first wedding photos even stronger.

The wedding was at Mementos by ITC Hotels, Ekaaya Udaipur – a fancy hotel with great views and peaceful scenery. In line with what their families are used to, the celebrations included both Telugu and Kodava traditions, showing respect for the couple’s backgrounds. Reports say the Telugu wedding ceremony was at 10:10 in the morning. Later, Kodava customs were scheduled for the evening, with a moment at sunset to match the traditions Rashmika had when she was growing up. It was a very private occasion, and only close family and friends were there.

The couple really liked the fan-made name Virosh. It first became well-known when Geetha Govindam came out, and it stayed with them as people began to guess they were dating. In their wedding announcements, which went together, they said hello to the name and called their celebration the wedding of Virosh. This recognition of their fans gave a friendly, shared feel to what had otherwise been a very private occasion.

It also linked their real-life milestone to the chemistry on-screen which first made people like them, in all languages.

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda first appeared together in 2018’s Geetha Govindam – a popular film that made them a well-known couple. They worked together again in Dear Comrade the next year, and rumours of a romance off-screen got even more intense. For almost eight years, they did not say what their relationship was in public, even though people started to say a few months ago that they were quietly engaged. That silence ended with a simple confirmation that quickly took over social media: they were a couple, and now, they were married.

The couple gave little hints of their celebrations, rather than showing everything. One event, called the Virosh Premier League, was about friendly competition. Vijay’s Stories showed people in the air during an energetic pool volleyball game, with a relaxed setting of plants, a net over the water, and red plastic cups. Rashmika’s previews changed the mood to something elegant and personal. She showed a dinner setting lit with gold, with pale pink lilies, green hydrangeas, grapes and apples decorating a long table. A special menu showed a Japanese dinner, and pointed to attention to detail, and a wish to make their guests feel special.

Vijay’s brother, actor Anand Deverakonda, welcomed Rashmika as his Vadina with a kind message on social media.

He remembered fans calling her Vadina for years, and said that today, the title finally felt right. His message wished the couple a lifetime of smiles, adding to the obvious joy of the family. The fashion was as good as the feeling. Rashmika chose an orange silk sari with detailed gold work, temple jewellery, several necklaces and matching bracelets. She left her hair down and decorated with flowers, and looked like a classic South Indian bride. Vijay went with her, wearing a traditional veshti and angavastram, with simple gold accessories. Together, they looked refined and showed respect for their culture. Every picture from the first wedding photos showed ease, warmth, and the kind of happiness that doesn’t need a caption. As the Virosh wedding becomes the most talked about thing on social media, it also finishes a long period of guessing. For fans of Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, these first photos are more than pictures; they are a promise of a new start, quietly celebrated and beautifully shared.
