Realme C83 5G Launches in India with 7000mAh Battery and Dimensity 6300 SoC, Starting at Rs 13,499

Realme has just released the C83 5G in India; it has a 7000mAh battery, and a Dimensity 6300 processor. It is from Rs 13,499, and provides inexpensive 5G, a 144Hz screen, and is made for people who want a phone that lasts a long time and does what is needed. It comes in two colours and is for people who value how long a charge will hold and simple use.

Cost, models and when it came out

The Realme C83 5G costs from Rs 13,499 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version. The 4GB/128GB version is Rs 14,499, and the best 6GB/128GB version is Rs 17,499. Realme is also giving six months of no-cost EMI options at the time of release.

Selling begins on March 7 at 12 PM; it can be bought from Flipkart, realme.com, and the main shops that sell phones. The phone is in Blooming Purple and Sprouting Green, and is for shoppers who want a long-lasting battery and simple 5G use.

Screen and how well it will last

The phone has a 6.7-inch LCD with a 144Hz screen that changes to suit what you are doing, meaning it is easier to move around the screen and play games than with usual cheap phones. The screen can get as bright as 900 nits, which helps you see it when it is bright.

For how well it will last, the Realme C83 has an IP64 rating for dust and water splashes, and Military-Grade Shock Resistance. These will give you more faith that it will not break if you drop it or if it gets a little wet.

How well it works, cooling and what it runs

Inside, the C83 5G has the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, made on a 6nm process. Realme puts this processor with up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of storage, so it can balance saving power with being able to do a few things at once.

To keep the heat down, Realme put in a 5,334 mm2 vapor chamber cooling system. The phone uses realme UI 7.0, which is based on Android 16, and the company says it will give four years of ‘carefully improved good performance’, meaning they will keep on working on the software and how well it works.

How long the battery will last and how long it takes to charge

The main thing about it is the 7000mAh Titan battery, which should give you more than two days of use for things like looking at the internet, watching videos and making calls. Realme gives 15W wired charging, which is not fast, but good enough given the size of the battery.

The phone can also give 5W wired charging to other devices if you need to, in a hurry. Having a very big battery and not fast charging means it is made for lasting a long time, rather than quickly getting a charge – a choice many people who do not want to spend much will like.

Camera, sound and useful extras

The camera is simple: a single 13MP AI back sensor and a 5MP front camera in a waterdrop notch. It can record up to 1080p at 30fps and is for basic photos and video calls, rather than taking good pictures.

Realme says it has a 300% super volume speaker for louder sound and a quick side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone weighs about 212g, because of the big battery, and has all the 5G you need for fast networks in the future.

Who the Realme C83 5G is for

The Realme C83 5G is for people who need a long battery life and good everyday use without spending much. It is with phones like the iQOO Z10x, Poco M7 Pro, and Motorola G35 in the crowded cheap 5G world.

If you want a battery that lasts, a high refresh screen, and good software updates, the C83 5G is a good choice for the price. People who want fast charging or good cameras may want to get more expensive phones, but the C83 is good value for people who want a battery that will last.
