Los Angeles authorities arrested a woman after shots were let off close to the Beverly Hills home of the well-known singer, Rihanna. The thing happened on Sunday afternoon and caused the police to respond quickly. No one in the house was injured and investigators say the inquiry is still going on while they find proof.
Shooting near Rihanna’s home
People who live close by said they heard shooting in the middle of the day in the expensive Beverly Crest area. Police say the singer, her boyfriend A$AP Rocky, and their children were in the house when a bullet – at least – hit the property. Luckily, everyone in the home was alright.
Authorities think seven to nine bullets from an AR-15-type gun were fired at the house. Pictures from where it happened showed marks from bullets on the front gate, and investigators say more bullets hit a wall and a campervan close by. Two houses of neighbours were also damaged.
Suspect named as Ivanna Ortiz
Police have named the person they think did the shooting as 35-year-old Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, who lives in Florida. Police officers arrested her not long after the thing happened, and then charged her with trying to murder someone. Ortiz is being kept in prison as the investigation goes on.
Records of people in prison list Ortiz as having a bail of about $10.225 million. Officials haven’t yet publicly shown any sure link between Ortiz and the famous family. Investigators stress that the reason and any links from before are still part of the investigation that is still going on.

People who saw what happened said a white Tesla with temporary number plates pulled up in front of the property at around 1:15 p.m.. They said the driver supposedly unloaded about 10 bullets from an AR-15-type gun at the big house. At least four bullets apparently hit the house.
Police followed the car as it drove away using a plane, and found it at a shopping centre nearby. Police officers took Ortiz into custody without any trouble. Authorities got back an assault-type gun and several empty shells from the car.
