For once, there is a date on the calendar for some closure. The one that was put out to pasture has found its footing with a June 6, 2026 drop on Netflix US, and a proper, streaming-style send-off for Harry in Colorado.
You may have already seen them on TV back in August 2025 to some rapturous reviews. But for the rest of us, it’s a chance to put in some time and watch how a plan to do in humanity becomes something of a comedy of errors and a lesson in what it means to be one of us.
The fan payoff on Netflix US
If you were left hanging after Season 3, the waiting is over in June. We’re in for a close-up on the show’s oddball side of things, with a finale that makes up for the last few years of story in this small town.
In a nutshell:
– On US screens (streaming) June 6, 2026
– First on the tube in August 2025
– A four-season run comes to a head
– From the pages of a Dark Horse comic
Why it is calling it quits
Things have been a bit of a tussle behind the scenes. There was some business friction, a budget that made for a leaner production, and some rewrites when the show moved around. Netflix has done its part to stoke the fire by putting the old episodes up, but they never ran the show – that was Syfy and USA Network’s job until the very end.
So Chris Sheridan, the man who made it, has put together a firm ending so no one is left in the lurch. You don’t often see a cancelled show get an OTT reprieve to make a clean exit instead of just fading to black.
How it will all play out
This is the last of Harry. We go back to Patience, Colorado for more of his kind of trouble. Hogan and Parkhouse’s original material is still there in spirit as we see the price of empathy in a story full of body-hopping and hard choices.
You’ll have the usuals to keep you company. Asta, Sheriff Mike and D’arcy are in for the ride, and they set the tone for a mix of neighbourly charm and some pointed sci-fi.
Who you will see
Alan Tudyk is your Harry Vanderspeigle, an alien with a doctor’s face and a conscience he is only now getting to. Then there is the rest of the team: Sara Tomko, Corey Reynolds, Alice Wetterlund, Meredith Garretson, Juda Prehn, Elvy Host, Linda Hamilton, Taylor Blackwell and Levi Fiehler.
It is a Chris Sheridan creation, of course, and over the course of it all you have had your murder mysteries, your fish-out-of-water moments and, if you let it, some feeling.
Your move
Been meaning to get to it? Now is as good a time as any. When the new season hits on June 6, 2026, you can make of it what you will and see the whole thing through at your own pace.
Make room for a bit of talk after you’ve watched. What was once a job to put an end to us is now a question of why we are worth it. For the die-hards and the newcomers, it is a way to say goodbye that you won’t want to miss.
