It was a lot to take in from the latest episode of Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa. On one side, you had Ram and host Farah Khan at odds, with the TV star making it plain he isn’t changing for anyone. On the other, a more subdued but no less surprising moment: Shivangi Joshi let it be known she is off the market.
Why the face-off struck a nerve
Farah was in full form, dishing out some hard truths to the five up for eviction. Most of them – Madhuri Grover, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Riyaz Aly, and even Shivangi – took it in. Not Ram. He made sure to put in his two cents, and what should have been a normal review became the thing everyone is talking about.
You could feel the room when Farah told him to get with the program, given his stature. Ram would have none of it, saying he was being who he is on purpose. It was a scene that didn’t just heat up the studio, but the conversation around it too.

Shivangi Joshi’s quiet bombshell
In a different vein, Shivangi opened up to Shreya Kalra about some of her life outside the house. She spoke of an event from a couple of years back that put a damper on things and made her see what she really wants.
She’s put that behind her now and is in a hurry to tie the knot. ‘I am engaged by the way,’ she said. She didn’t give us much to go on, so we can only guess.
Some in the fan club are happy for her and want to know who the lucky guy is. We were led to believe she and Kushal Tandon were an item last year, but he was the one to put out the word they were through, while she kept to herself.
A previous moment that raised eyebrows
Ram has been in the news this week for more than just his run-in with Farah. There was the whole infidelity defence, and then a bit of fun with Varun Yadav. After some ribbing about Ram’s life – ‘Married at 30, father at 33…’ – Varun quipped, ‘And you cheated at 40…’
Ram just in and gave him a peck on the lips. The influencer didn’t say a word. It’s these unscripted little things that make you wonder what you’ll see from him next.
What it means for the game
You have five with chargesheets and a top-tier name like Ram daring the show to 'evict me if you have a problem‘. So the question is, when the time comes, will people see that as being true to himself or just not giving a damn?
